Dragon Boat Festival

The  one of the oldest traditional festival of the Chinese nation,has had a history of more than 2000 years.It is usually in June in the Gregorian calendar.

Because of the vast territory,numerous nationalities,plus many stories,not only have many different section,but also all over with different customs.The main traditional Chinese habits is people eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.

And Dragon Boat Festival is for Qu Yuan. He is an honest minister who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in river.In the field of folk culture,the Chinese people in the Dragon Boat Festival Dragon Boat Race and eating rice dumpling,are linked with the commemoration of Qu Yuan.

Today,the Dragon Boat Festival is the Chinese people is still a very popular in the grand festival.
